So Sorry...

I realise how slack I am, not posting on my blog since August last year! But there really arent enough hours in the day sometimes. I now have a facebook page which I update more regularly. So, if you want to keep up with me you're best to 'like' my facebook page. It can be found here. I look forward to seeing you all there. Don't forget to let me know if you're interested in hosting a workshop, placing an order or browsing one of our wonderful catalogues! I would love to hear from you.

Market Stall

Sorry I haven't posted in so long. I have been really busy preparing for my very first Market Stall. The Get Crafty On Logan first Market Day was last Sunday. It was a fun day and I got to meet lots of really lovely people!

I did something really stupid though - left my camera at home. Arggghhhh!!! I was not happy with myself!!!

I will be there again next month though. And I WILL remember the camera next time! The next Market Day is Sunday 4th September at the Upper Hutt Cosmopolitan Club, Logan Street, Upper Hutt. Hours of the market are 9am - 1pm.

I would love to see you there!

Happy Holiday Times

I've just had a week off work. The weather was beautiful so I made the most of it one of the days and went for a trip to Wairarapa.

I had missed my friends birthday who lives over that way so thought it was a good excuse to hand deliver her card and have a catch up at the same time.

Inside of card:

Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade, Whisper White
Stamps: Printed Petals, Create A Cupcake, Punch Bunch (SAB 2011)
Inks: Poppy Parade
Other: Decorative Label Punch, Dazzling Diamonds, Rhinestones, Big Shot, Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die

First Attempts....

I have a habit of ordering products and forgetting about them pretty soon after they arrive. Recently I came across my Motorcycle stamp from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue and decided I would ink it up for the first time.

The sentiment is embossed, but you can't really tell from the photo. It was my first attempt at embossing. I have used Aqua Painters to colour the stamp. It was also my first attempt at water-colouring, except for at a Paper Diva's Team Training Session.

Cardstock: Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Stamps: Motorcycle, So Happy For You (SAB 2011)
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Garden Green
Other: Hodgepodge Hardware, Aqua Painters, Distressing Tool from Cutter Kit, Embossing Buddy, Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder
